Troubleshooting
Can't connect to Wi-Fi#
Only the 2.4GHz band is supported (5GHz-only routers won't work). Check the SSID and password and make sure the router's 2.4GHz band is on. It retries up to 3 times automatically.
Which router did it join?#
With several routers of the same name, a choice dialog appears during first setup (App 2.5.1 · firmware v2.4.3). If it doesn't appear, check that both the app and firmware are up to date. With no choice, the strongest router is used. See First-Time Setup for details.
App can't connect to the keyboard#
The app and keyboard must be on the same Wi-Fi. If the IP changed after a router reboot, the app searches again by itself. If that fails, tap “Scan for keyboard” or enter the IP shown on the OLED.
Keeps restarting when Wi-Fi turns on#
Current draw jumps when Wi-Fi starts. Weak USB ports, hubs or long cables can cause restarts or boot errors. Use a PC motherboard USB port or a 5V 2A adapter with a short data cable.
A key stays pressed#
A press was stopped before its matching release ran. Tap Stop in the app — it releases every key.
Changed router or password#
Hold the Wi-Fi reset button on the side of the device for 3 seconds and set it up again. Macro data is kept. See Wi-Fi Reset.
Firmware update stopped halfway#
Never cut power during OTA. If it fails, the previous firmware is restored automatically. Try again with stable power.
